A5 Chip and 8-megapixel sensor
At the WWDC Keynote, Apple introduced a part of the new features of iOS 5. While many expected that the iPhone 5 makes an appearance, the firm did not touch a Word. According to Bloomberg, the new iPhone would be scheduled for the month of September, and a new iPad with a much higher resolution would be also expected.
Bloomberg cited two sources close to the iPhone which the fifth version is planned for September, benefiting the re-entry. The heart of the phone would be a A5 chip, the same that Apple has integrated in the iPad 2 and that is twice as powerful than the generation A4 (nine times more for the graphic part). In addition, the 5-megapixel sensor would be replaced by a new 8 megapixel model.
