Run Android on N9 with Alien Dalvik applications
The first official smartphone under Meego, Nokia N9, can run Android applications using the virtual machine of Myriad. Nokia N9 is the first official smartphone under the Meego operating system. It is however of the base system, because Finnish has added its own layer. This phone seems to be rather attractive, as the know-how of the manufacturer is no longer to show. The missed turn from Nokia in the world of smartphones comes instead of Symbian, which does not seduced the crowds.

The N9 will try to imitate the RIM Playbook, that is able to run Android applications, without to use the Google system. This is not a manufacturer, but third-party initiative. This, to use a virtual machine near Dalvik. The Myriad, named Alien Dalvik solution, can run applications without having to edit them.
