Only a few days ago a study was published after the Android Tablets now have a market share of 30.1 percent – but this rate is apparently set to too high a multiple

In the study, the market research company Strategy Analytics refers to the number of produced and delivered to dealers Tablets, not on actual sales figures. The market share of the Apple iPad was in these statistics at 61.3 percent. If now the number of published Apple iPad produced 28.73 million underlying sets, that would mean sales of 14 million Android Tablets.

The actual number is likely to official information from Google, however, are much lower: According to Google CEO Larry Page through the end of June were 130 million Android-enabled devices, meanwhile, this value according to Google spokesperson Stefan Keuchel risen to 135 million. On the Google Android Developer site again writes that in the last week of June, only 0.9 percent of all access to the Android Market of devices with a screen size of 7 inches
