HTC dominates sales Android and WP7 1 August 2011

In the USA and equal RIM
The Nielsen has published very interesting data on sales of smartphones in the U.S.. If it confirms the rise of Google Android, it gives particular details of the most important manufacturers. HTC and draws much out of the game

Overall, Android captured in June 39% market share, against 28% for the iPhone (IOS), 20% for RIM (BlackBerry OS), 9% for Windows 7 Phone, 2% for HP (Webo) and 2% for Nokia (Symbian). This information confirms the comScore statistics for the month of May

In the details, so we can see that HTC dominates the debate among manufacturers Android operating with 14% market share, to Motorola (11%) and Samsung (8%).

But the firm has mostly Asian captured 6% of additional market share through Windows Phone 7, which represents two to three sales. Results, with 14% market share in Android and 6% market share in WP7, so HTC has 20% market share in the United States.
