The CEO of nVidia has talked a little bit of Ice Cream Sandwich and future processor brand, aptly named Kal-El, or Tegra 3.

If the quote reported by AndroidAndMe is moved from its context and thus begins a bullshit (“Kal – El is the first quad-core processor” O RLY?), we still learn something important: teams of engineers have not only gone in the meaning of “more”, but also in the sense of “always less consumption”.

What they call the “Multi-proc’ variable symmetric” allows them to make more powerful processors, better optimized while being less energy-intensive. That means little or bow, more autonomy on our shelves. That said, take the tweezers of uses, because these gentlemen like turlupiner us the brain. They said the same thing by passing to the dual-core: personally, I have not seen any difference on smartphone. In my opinion, they forget an “If” in their formula which would become: would consume appropriately “our quad-core processors toward less with this technology
