A small victory of short duration?
A new milestone has been reached in the war between patents that Apple and Samsung. According to the BBC, the tribunal in The Hague in the Netherlands has indeed confirmed that Samsung violated one of many Apple patents. A victory for the latter? Not really …
The patent in question is in fact the EP 2059868. It covers the “scrolling” pictures, that is to say, how to view photos and navigate on a touch screen. This victory is not an Apple. Rather, it is a real blow.
