HP TouchPad and Android
Touchdroid, the team that wear Android on the TouchPad HP (sold to 99 euros for the 16 GB version) has to achieve a breakthrough. Indeed, they managed to operate the touch screen under Android 2.3.5. Last month, the advances are regular and very promising, it is the CyanogenMod team who is given a goal to run Android on the TouchPad HP.

It closely follows the portage, but do not expect a public version and stable before several weeks, the issues and challenges are many. Note that it is the Gingerbread of Android version that is currently scope, the source code of the Honeycomb version dedicated to the shelves is not available it will surely take the Ice Cream Sandwich version which could land before the end of the year according to the current rumors.

For recall, tomorrow (Wednesday), RueDuCommerce will start selling 1000 copies of the TouchPad 16 GB and 32 GB (500 X 2). Copies will be on sale at 7 in the morning (French time). Prepare your accounts
