You certainly know VLC Media Player, multimedia player on computer and some mobile platforms.

Although he still missing on Android, the project is well launched. The application is not yet available, but developers are very optimistic about the future of their solution!

Following their testimony:
After two months of development, VLC Media Player works very well on the Android system. The project still requires much work prior to its deployment, but we now know that VLC on Android is feasible.

At the moment, VLC has been primarily tested in the Android emulator, on a Nexus One, Nexus S and a HTC Desire. As soon as the beta version will be deployed, we will ask all our testers we report issues they face. In this way, we will be able to validate the proper functioning of VLC on different mobile and tablets.

At this time, tasks focus on two important topics: the decoding of video and sound.

The application is divided into two branches: one running on Android 2.3
