iCloud, the new service package from Apple to replace the current MobileMe should arrive soon

iCloud, the new service package from Apple to replace the current MobileMe should arrive soon. Apple just announced on his forum that the date of September 22 was to tick: The services will be unavailable for several for cleaning.

Last step before launch? This cleaning will be done in the backups made by the service when connected to a Mac Leo 10.7.2 beta (compatible with a developer account). These backups are those documents in particular, that Apple is going to erase, no doubt to make some adjustments before the official launch. The company also indicates that a backup “will be full the next time your device connects to iCloud.”

But that users who are testing these services can rest assured that all data will not be deleted. Thus, the four main features that are mail, calendar, contacts and favorites will be left in place. Are only affected systems automated backups.
