Android Apps and Honeycomb: Compatibility is Under Construction 20 September 2011

“Released too early,” Android Honeycomb fishing as much by his youth as a system and support of applications. And the smartphone version compatibility is not the panacea.

One of the strongest criticism against Honeycomb – released in February – and youth is the lack of compatible applications. Officially sparse, the offer is enriched every day new applications specially developed versions of smartphones or “compatible” with the OS for tablets.

Since early August, I (the lucky) owner of an Asus Eee Pad Pad Transformer, yielding ignominiously to the hype. This impulse buying me as much possible to admire the work done by Google and its partners on the OS (despite some annoying problems such as poor performance in portrait mode) as an update on compatible or dedicated applications.
