Firefox 8 Beta: WebSockets and Twitter Search 2 October 2011

Next version of Firefox has improved tab system and new options for managing add-ons, WebSockets Support and integrated search to Twitter

As expected, immediately after the release of the final version of Mozilla Firefox 7, The Mozilla Foundation announced that version 8 of the browser entered its beta testing stage. Among the innovations in the product is the inclusion of Twitter as a search option in addition to changes in control of open tabs and the extensions management.

The biggest news of the browser is the option to load tabs open only when desired. Thus, the user can open a variety of links without this adversely affects the internet connection only when reading the contents of the page is loaded. The main advantage of this system is a significant improvement in load time of the program.

The management system was also redesigned extensions, allowing the user to have more control over the third-party applications installed on the browser. If Firefox detects
