Opera has released the first official alpha of version 12 major of its browser. Several versions of tests were available until now but the editor now posted its download on its official website.

Opera 12, even in alpha, is primarily an opportunity to really highlight the new interface known as Featherweight, literally “lightweight”. The Opera Software ASAalso takes advantage of the new build 1090 to provide an extra layer of finish, including icons, change the colors to better match the native themes covered platforms, and so on.

This version also has Ragnarok, the HTML5 parser tools. The rendering engine Presto improves on its side the support for radial gradients of CSS3. But Opera is also talk of a redesigned web compatibility and can therefore be assumed that the particular problems specific to the browser were erased. And since we are talking about rendering, you should be aware that graphics acceleration is finally part. Like others, Opera will use the GPU for all
